Talking therapies
Our core therapeutic approaches, with qualified counsellors and therapists.
Counselling
Confidential talking therapy using Person-Centred and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy approaches. Sessions are tailored to suit your needs, helping you explore what brings you here and develop your own insights.
Psychotherapy
Therapeutic support for psychological disorders and mental health challenges. Suited to longer-term work and deeper exploration with a qualified therapist.
Creative Art & Play Therapy
A safe, confidential space, particularly suited to children, to explore and express feelings through play and creative work. Available as individual or group sessions in our dedicated Sunflower Play Room.
Complementary & wellbeing
Gentle, relaxation-focused approaches, offered alongside or independently of talking therapy.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis employed as a therapeutic method: a focused, relaxed state used to support change in patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour.
Relaxation & Visualisation
Practical techniques to help with stress, anxiety and emotional overwhelm, building tools you can use both in sessions and in everyday life.
Access Bars
An energy-based therapy involving gentle touch to specific points on the head, intended to release stuck thoughts and stored tension.
Reiki
A complementary practice using gentle touch to encourage relaxation, balance and wellbeing alongside or independently of talking therapy.
How it works
Each client receives a one-to-one assessment session with a specialist counsellor to determine the appropriate therapy type. The counsellor provides a supportive space for exploration while helping you develop your own insights into what you're working through.
Multiple sessions are typically required for meaningful progress. We'll discuss what feels right for you during your initial conversation.
